    How to Customize Header and Footer in Excel

    Click "Page Layout"
    Click "Page Setup"
    Click "Header/Footer"
    Click "Header:" to see already created options.
    Click "Header:" to see already made options based on your data.
    Click "Custom Header..." to create your own header.
    The header can be set in any placement on the page and can include: \ Page number\ Number of pages\ Date\ Time\ File path\ File name\ Sheet name\ Image
    Click "Custom footer" to edit the footer.
    Click "Different first page" to have a header or footer that is different on the first page than in the rest of the document.
    Click "ok" to finish editing header/footer.
    Click "Page Layout" to preview the changes made to the header and/or footer.
    You should now be able to see any changes made. Changes can also be made within the header and footer from this view.
