You may want to delete a branch for many reasons. But how can you do this through GitHub's website? Let's get to it.

From your GitHub home page, click on your Repositories.

Next, click on the Repository which contains the branch you want to delete.

Click "branches" located directly above your Repository files.

Find the branch you want to delete and click the Trash icon along the right. Your branch will be automatically deleted.
