How to Delete a Repository in GitHub
If you don't want to display an old project on GitHub anymore, or you just want to get rid of some unused Repositories, you can easily delete them from GitHub in a few steps.

Open the repository you want to delete on GitHub.

Click Settings from the options on the Repository page.

Next, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and hit Delete this Repository.

GitHub will make you type out the entire name and ensure you understand the consequences.

You may also have to enter your GitHub password to proceed.

Voila! The repository was successfully deleted.
