Hovering to the right of a piece of content will bring up a contextual link. If it has an"Edit" or "Delete" button, it's part of the page. You can edit the page using this contextual link. 

You can also edit a page by using the edit button in the main menu. 

Tip! Sometimes you will run into situations when editing the page, you can't find the content you are looking for. That's because they appear as blocks, which are not connected to the page. When this happens, find the content you want to edit on the front end, and select its contextual link. 

You'll know it's a block when you can see the options of "Configure Block" and "Remove block from context". To edit, select "Edit".
