To access the Google Slides application, simply click on the "Slides" option

Open the specific Google Slides presentation that you wish to share with others as a forced copy

In the top menu click on "Theme"

Select your preferred theme from the panel on the right

To use a custom theme you’ve created, click the "Import" button at the bottom of the themes panel

In the pop-up window you may choose the location of the theme you want to import

In the top menu bar, click on "Slide"

From the dropdown menu, select "Edit theme"

This opens the theme editor, where you can modify the master slides and layouts

Click "Background" in the toolbar

Choose a solid color, gradient, or image

Click "Done" to save the preferred changes

Below the Master Slide, you'll see individual layout slides
Select each layout slide to make specific changes

According to your preferences you can:
- Add or remove placeholders like text boxes, images, or shapes.
- Reposition or resize elements.
- Adjust specific styles, such as borders or line thickness

Once you've made all the desired changes, close the theme editor by clicking the "X" in the top-right corner.
Your edits will automatically apply to all slides in the presentation that use the modified layouts
Notes:
- Google slide templates are currently only available in English (US) locale
- If you use a work or school account on Google Slides, you might only see organization branded templates
