How to Embed Panopto Videos in VU Collaborate

Log in to **VU Collaborate** and navigate to your unit space.\ On the main menu, select **Content**, then locate the topic page, module or news item where you wish to place your video, and enter edit mode.
Preferred method: Insert Stuff
**Insert Stuff** is the preferred method for sharing videos with students, particularly if you want to **track viewing statistics**.

In edit mode, place your cursor where you want to add your video, then select the **Insert Stuff** icon from the tool bar.

Scroll down and select **Panopto for Teaching Staff**.

Locate and select your video, then click **Insert.**

\ Preview the video, then again select **Insert**.
Optional method: Embed Code

On the navbar, select **Tools** then **Video** (or **Video**) to access the Panopto Library.\ Locate and hover over your video and then select **Share.**\ *NOTE: make sure the video is in the folder associated with your space, or students may not be able to view it.*

Under **Who can access this video** select **Embed.**

Select **Copy Embed Code**

Go back to your unit space. In your HTML editor, place your cursor where you want to add your video, then select the **Insert Stuff** icon from the tool bar. Scroll down and select **Enter Embed Code**.

Paste the **Embed code** into the **text box.**

Select **Next.**

Select **Insert** to insert the video.
