Alert! Google Slides doesn't allow you to paste HTML code into a slide directly. But there's a workaround using Google Slides' "Insert" feature. In this tutorial, I will show you how to embed a video from YouTube in Google Slides.

Step 1: Find the Right Code

Go to the YouTube video you wish to embed in Google Slides.
    Click the Share button.
You can choose when the video should start.
Copy the URL provided in the pop-up window.

Step 2: Embed the Content in Google Slides

    Navigate to [https://docs.google.com/presentation](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1DZLZOqah7T5lcnrRp_iqjAtroYi-5bCnyK3AMZ1XMr8/edit#slide=id.g2d85001e5e7_0_295)
Click on the slide where you wish to embed the video.
Click the ”Insert" tab in the toolbar on top.
Select the “Video” option in the dropdown menu.
Use the search bar to look for the title of the video, or copy the URL you got in the previous steps.
Here is the video I had copied from YouTube.
    Click "Insert"
Now, your video is embedded. You will find a “Format options” panel on the right side of your screen. There, you can make the adjustments you wish to your embedded video.
You can also click and drag the video to change its position in the slide, and click the corner of the video to resize it.
After you are done applying the changes to your embedded video, click "Close" in the Format options panel.
Now, your YouTube video is embedded in Google Slides.
