    How to Enable & Utilize Connect Messaging

    Click "Connect"

    If Connect has yet to be enabled, that must be done before any messages can be sent. To enable it, click "Settings"

    Click "Enable Group Messaging"

    Check the box next to every possible visitor type you may want to send Connect messages to in the future.

    Once Connect has been enabled, Accushield automatically launched a Text Message Consent policy to start appearing on the kiosk for your chosen visitor types. When someone from that visitor type signs-in - they will be asked to opt-in to your SMS program. They can accept the policy or deny the policy. If they accept, they will be added to your pool of potential message recipients. If you want to view this policy, you can click the green arrow under Policy Document.

    When you're ready to send a message, click "Create Message"

    To determine your message audience, choose the visitor types you'd like to send your outreach to. You can choose multiple at a time.

    If you're wanting to message "Service Providers," "Family or Guests," "Volunteers" or "Tours" - you will first need to put in a date range. We will pull anyone from those visitor types that signed into the Kiosk during that date range.

    Click "APPLY"

    You should see a list of possible recipients populate into the "Recipient List" table. Check either the phone number or email for every person you'd like to message.

    If you're wanting this message to send as an email, add in a subject line. If you're just sending texts, you can leave this field empty.

    Add your message into the "Enter your message" field. We have a 360 character limit, but you are allowed to include links into your message.

    When your message is ready, click "Send"

    Check to confirm & acknowledge your message details.

    For quicker sending, you can create message templates by clicking "Overview"
