Navigate to [https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox)

To be able to use the email encryption for Gmail, first, you have to create your email. Click on "Compose".

Add the email recipient.

Type the email subject and write the email as needed.

Once you have your email ready to send, click on the 3 dots in the down-right corner.

There, select the "Toggle confidential mode" option.

Select the preferred expiration date from the dropdown.

Select the "SMS passcode" option.
