Open the video you want to create a quiz from on YouTube.

Open the full description of the video and click here.

Scroll back to the top of the video and click on the three dots.

Click "Toggle timestamps" to turn the timestamps off. This makes it easier to copy and paste them.

Click and drag to select all the text in the transcript.

Type "Can you format this youtube transcript nicely?"

Press [[ctrl]] + [[v ]]to paste in the YouTube transcript you just copied.

Type "Can you create me a 5 question multiple choice quiz on the content of the above only? Please also include an answer and an explanation as to why that answer is correct. [[enter]]

You will now have a set of lovely multiple choice quizzes to copy and paste into a quizzing app of your choice.

Claude

YouTube is a fantastic resource for educational videos but it can be time consuming to create a quiz afterwards to check understanding. 

Thankfully, Google now auto-generates captions for almost all of it's videos. You can put these into a Chatbot of your choice (we're using Claude because it can handle really long transcripts) and it can create a set of multiple choice questions for you.
