Click the cell where you want to enter the percentage of a number.
To find 30% of 100, use a formula to multiply 100 by 0.3 (the decimal form of 30%).

Using an Existing Percent
When you already have percents listed in Excel, you can use a formula to multiply to find the percent of a number.
In the desired cell, Type "="\
Click the cell with the number.\
Type "\*"\
Click the cell with the percent.\
Press [[Enter]]
Apply the formula to other cells by clicking and dragging the small rectangle at the bottom right corner of the cell.
