How to Hide Repository on GitHub
Uploading your projects to GitHub is simple, but sometimes you don't want the whole internet to have access to your repository. In situations like this, it can be helpful to hide your repository on GitHub by changing the visibility preferences.

On GitHub, navigate to the repository you want to hide.

Once you are on your repository page, click Settings.

Scroll all the way down to the "Danger Zone" and hit "Change visibility."

Hit the blue button labeled Change to private.

Next, hit "I want to make this repository private."

Click "I have read and understand these effects" to finalize the changes and hit your repository.
