      Important: After you make changes or edits to your public profile, it can take several weeks or months for search engines like Google, Yahoo, or Bing to detect changes and refresh.       Click your profile picture on the top right of your LinkedIn homepage.

      Click the Edit icon next to “Public profile & URL”

      To hide your profile from public view, toggle “Your profile’s public visibility” to Off.

      To hide specific settings, toggle the specific settings to Off to hide that information from your public profile. Changes are saved automatically.
