    Navigate to [https://docs.google.com/presentation](https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1DZLZOqah7T5lcnrRp_iqjAtroYi-5bCnyK3AMZ1XMr8/edit#slide=id.g2d85001e5e7_0_295) and open the Google Slides presentation where you want to transform an image into a shape, or create a new one.

    If you are going to work on an existing presentation, click the slide with the image you want to transform into a shape.

    Click the image you want to transform into a shape.

    On the toolbar, look for the crop icon and click on the arrow next to it.

    Click or hover over the “Shapes” option.

    Click here.

    Now, the new shape is applied. You can make adjustments to the sizing by clicking and dragging the blue borders as shown here.

    You can also crop the image with the new shape. Click on the crop image icon.

    Click and drag to crop the image with its new shape.

    Click here again to apply the cropping adjustments.

    Now, your image is transformed into the new shape.
