From the channel settings

Click on the down arrow next to the channel name at the top

Click on "Members"

Click "Add people"

Enter their name or email address and select from the suggestions list

Click "Add" or press Enter

Click "X" to close the channel Settings window
Using the "/invite" shortcut

Open the channel, type "/invite" followed by "@" and the person's name.\
For example "@malik" here

Click on their name in the suggestions list

Click on the arrow (Send now) at the bottom right or press Enter

Slack will post a message confirming the member was added to the channel. The member will also be notified.
