    Enable Read Receipt Indicators

    Click the "Me" icon located at the top of LinkedIn's homepage

    Go to "Settings & Privacy"

    At the left panel, search for "Data privacy"

    Look for the option "Read receipts and typing indicators" and click the arrow located at the right side of it

    Toggle the "Read receipts and typing indicators" option on or off depending on your preferences

    Check if Someone's Read Your Message

    In LinkedIn's homepage, look for messages at the bottom right corner

    Choose the conversation of your preference

    Check the message status **Sending Message:** Your message is currently being sent. If it fails to send, an error message will appear, prompting you to retry. When in this status, you'll see an empty circle at the side of your message. **Message Sent:** Your message has been successfully sent and will be delivered to the recipient's inbox. When in this status, you'll see a circle with a check mark at the side of your message. **Message Read:** This shows that the message has been read. When in this status, you'll see a circle with a person at the side of your message.

    Note: If the recipient has disabled read receipts and typing indicators, the sender will not be able to see whether the message has been read or if the recipient is typing a reply. In these cases, the message status will remain as "Sent."
