    Loading Data Logging Channels

    When data logging a vehicle, the channels represent all of the vehicle data that is being logged. Anything that is not in the channel list will not be monitored or recorded in the data log.

    Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Tuners software installed.     Open the VCM Scanner app

    Click the folder with the gear icon in the Channels menu

    Click "Open Channel Config"

    Navigate to your "Downloads" folder (or wherever you saved the channels, if different)

    Click on the channels file

    Click "Open"

    The channel list is now populated with your desired channels.

    Recording a Data Log

    Make sure you have the proper data logging channels loaded. If you don't, critical information may be left out of the data log.

    Connect your HP Tuners interface to the vehicle and your laptop via USB cable.

    Start the vehicle and let it idle.

    In the VCM Scanner application, click the blue "Connect to Vehicle" button

    Click the red "Start Scanning" button to begin recording data

    You will see data and gauges moving around as the log records

    Proceed to follow data logging instructions provided by your tuner

    Once you are finished data logging, press the blue "Stop Scanning" button

    To save the data log, press the save button with the lightning bolt to "Save Log File As"
