How to Lock an Image in Google Slides

Sign in to your Google account and go to <https://docs.google.com/presentation>

Open an existing presentation or create a new one.

Click the ”Slide" tab from the menu bar at the top.

Click on “Edit theme”

That action will open this Editor.

Right-click on any layout and select “Duplicate Theme.” This makes a copy of the layout that you can change.

Now go to any of the layouts.

Click on the slide.

Paste any object you want to lock onto the duplicated layout.

You can adjust the image appearance and position.

Click here to close the Editor.

Alert! Your objects or images are now locked. They can’t be moved or deleted unless you change the Master Slide.

Open your presentation and go the slide with the objects or images you want to lock.

Start by clicking one of the images or objects.

Press the [[shift]] key while you click on the other image or object.
