    Add a Xero organisation to your account

    Add an Entity

    Click on the **New Entity** on any screen within generate.TAX.

    Navigate to [https://app.generate.tax/main](https://app.generate.tax/main)

    Choose the **Xero** button.

    Login to your Xero account

    Select the Xero organisations you wish to connect - you may add organisatioons in bulk by selecting multiple organisations.

    Click the **Allow access** to authorise generate.TAX to access the selected entities.

    To view the connected entities, navigate to the **Entities** page

    You cannot add the same Xero organisation to different generate.TAX accounts – you will need to add the organisation to your generate.TAX account and then share this with your users within generate.TAX. This is a security limitation of the Xero’s API.

    Reconnect a Xero organisation

    To reconnect an organisation (the organisation in the drop-down will be greyed out and cannot be selected), click on the **Continue with organisations** button

    Disconnect a Xero organisation

    Navigate to the **Entities** page

    Click on the entity you wish to remove from generate.TAX.

    Click on the **Disconnect** button.

    Using the Xero 'Connected apps'

    You can disconnect an entity from generate.TAX however in some cases, before reconnecting you may need to remove it from the Xero **Connected apps** in your Xero settings.

    Click **Disconnect** next to all instances of generate.TAX
