Navigate to your merchant link [https://merchant.orderup.ai/XX](https://merchant.orderup.ai/XX)

Select the Promo Codes Icon. This is behind a pin code, making sure only authorized individuals can create or edit promo codes. 

Click the "New Promo Code" button to get started creating your code

This will bring up all of the fields for the promo code including the code itself

Tip! The same promo code cannot be used twice, you can create unique codes by adding numbers to the end

Select the type of discount you would like to give

A description of the discount. Only you will see this description 

Enter the dollar amount or percentage discount you will be providing

Add a custom start and end date for the offering. If you would like to run the promotion indefinitely, do not add an end date.

Select if you would like to offer the code for dine-in, takeout or both!

Enter the minimum spend to receive the discount (optional). 

Adding a minimum spend increases basket size to provide a discount. This is also great to include in advertising the promo code!

Global Promotion Cap sets the maximum amount of the discount you will provide. After the cap is reached the promo code will no longer be active (optional).

All uses of a Promo Code will be tracked in the reporting section of your OrderUp Interface.
