How to Collect Payment from Your Insured or Make Payment on Behalf of Your Insured

Navigate to dashboard.useascend.com

From the dashboard, navigate to the program page or invoice for the insured you want to make payment for. You can also use the search bar at the top of the screen.

Copy the payment link

Open a new browser window and paste the link in

Click "Continue to payment options"

You can select pay in full or pay over time if your insured wants to finance the policy

Click "Pay over time"

Click this checkbox

For financed programs the PFA is e-signed during the downpayment process, so you will be completing that action on behalf of your insured

Click "Continue to pay"

Enter your insured's payment information (or your agency's information if you already have the down payment

If the insured sent a check to the agency, select ACH and enter the account information from the check

If the insured paid the agency directly (via ACH or check) and you are paying via agency bank account, ensure to turn autopay off so the agency isn't charged for future payments and in the future ensure the insured either checks out themselves or provides their own payment information to the agency for future payments
