    Input the data you want to use to create a line chart. Organize your data in a clear and concise table format without any missing data or blank cells. Make sure there are no empty cells or missing information, with labels in the first row describing the data points.

    Highlight the cells with the values you wish to include in the line graph of your spreadsheet.

    Go to the menu bar on top and click on "Insert". This will make a new menu appear.

    Look for the “Chart” option in the menu and click on it.

    Automatically, a graph will appear in your spreadsheet.

    You will also see a Chart editor on the right part of your screen.

    You will see a “Chart type” section in the Chart editor.

    Click on "Column chart" to see more format options for your graph.

    Here are the three options for line graphs.

    Click one of the options for line graphs to see how it looks like with your data.

    Click "Smooth line chart" to change the line graph format again.

    In this case, I selected the Combo chart line graph.

    This is how the Combo chart looks like.

    Click "Customize" to see more options for your line graph display.

    Under the Customize section, you can click on each item to continue customizing the line graph.

    Click "Close" once you have finished customizing your line graph.

    After you finish the customization for your line graph, it will appear over your data.

    Click on it and drag it as convenient.

    You can also resize your line graph by clicking in any corner selector.
