Input the data into the sheet. Make sure this data is organized and has clear labels for each category with the corresponding values.

Select all the cells that contain the data you wish to include in the pie chart.
Alert! Make sure you are selecting all the cells that you need to include in the pie chart. Those that are not selected will not be included. This common error can easily be avoided by checking the cells.

Click "Insert" in the menu bar at the top. It will open a dropdown menu.

Select the “Chart” option in the dropdown menu.

After that, a “Chart Editor” will appear on the right side of your screen, and a default pie chart will appear on the sheets.

In the Chart editor, you will find two tabs: “Setup” and “Customize”.
If you click on "Pie chart”, you will be able to see other types of charts and graphs available on Google Sheets.

If you click "Customize,” you will find a number of options available to customize.

Click "Chart style" for more options to customize your Google Sheets pie chart.

Under “Chart style,” you will be able to change the background color, the font, the chart border color, and more.

Click "Pie slice" and you will be able to assign new colors to the categories of your pie chart.

Click here to select a category from your pie chart.

Click here to assign a new color to the pie slice or chart category.

You can customize the pie chart and adjust it to your needs by clicking on each item. This customization will apply automatically to the pie chart.

After you have finished customizing, click on the pie chart and drag it to set it where you need it.

And that is it! You have your Google Sheets pie chart.
