    How to Make a Pivot Table in Excel

      To begin, open your workbook in Excel.
      Highlight to select the range of data.\ Click "Insert"
      Click "PivotTable"
      Ensure that the correct table or range is selected.\ Click "New worksheet" to create the Pivot Table in a separate worksheet.\ Click "OK" to create a Pivot Table.
      Select the categories you want displayed on the Pivot Table.
