      Open Google Sheets and ensure that you have two numerical data sets ready, as both are required to create a scatter plot For this example, we have prepared two columns containing various values, each corresponding to one of the variables you'd like to analyze

      To start, select all the data you wish to include in the scatter plot

      Once you have made your selection, click on "Insert" in the top menu

      In the drop-down menu, click "Chart"

      Google Sheets will try to guess the type of graph you are creating, but might not always get it right
