    Click the header row and format it. In this case, I selected Bold.

    Align the text as you like. In this case, I selected the entire table.

    Select if you want to align the center to the right, the center or the left.

    Format the numbers in your table. Select the cells with the numbers.

    Click "Format" on the menu bar at the top.

    Now the numbers are formatted as dates.

    A good practice is to understand the filters on Google Sheets. Click "Data"

    Click "Create a filter"

    Now, go to the column on which you wish to apply the filter. In this case, it’s the gender column. Click on the filter icon in the header row of the column.

    Here, you can see all the options for filters. By default, all the values are checked. I clicked on Male, so I am unchecking it.

    Click "OK" to apply the filter.

    Now, you can see your table filtered. In this case, it’s the gender column, and now we can only see the female students.

    Click the filter icon again to choose another filter or to re-check the value you had unchecked.

    Click here to check the cell value again.
