    How to Manage HEI Profiles

      Click "Account."

      Click the second item in the dropdown menu, labeled as "Your institution's short name + Profile."

      Click on the "TO DO" button to view the list of items required to complete your higher education institution (HEI)'s profile.

      The "General Information" section displays and allows updates of the following information: - HEI Name - Short Name - Description - Academic Unit Level - HEI Type - Visibility - Status - Enabled flag. It also displays HEI logo, OCIP rating, as well as shortcut buttons to display the HEI's academic units, facilities, experts, equipment, organizational chart, and profile. Click 'Update' to edit information in this section.

      Click on the "HEI Details" panel.

      The "HEI Details" section displays and allows updates of the following information: - HEI Name - Research IP Policy Preference - Checkboxes to indicate if the HEI is part of an academic network - Checkboxes to indicate whether it serves all or only some provinces, regions, and NAICS industrial sectors. Click "Update" to edit information in this section.

      Click on the "Provinces Served" panel. (Note: this panel is only displayed if the "Serves All Canada" checkbox is not marked).

      Click "Manage Provinces" to update the Canadian provinces or territories, where your HEI can provide services.

      Click on the "Sectors Served" panel. (Note: this panel is only displayed if the "Serves All Sectors" checkbox is not marked).

      Click "Add New" to add new NAICS codes of the industrial Sectors served by the HEI's activities.

      Use the dropdowns to select a NAICS code.

      Click "Save"

      Click on the "Contacts" panel.

      Provide the contact's first name, last name, and position title.

      Select the type of contact from the following options: Administrative, Financial, Technical, All, or Other.

      Click "Next"

      Provide the contact's email address and phone number. Select the contact's preferred method of contact, communication language and visibility type.

      Click "Save"

      Click on the "Locations" panel. Click "Add New" to add the physical locations where HEI activities are performed.
