From a set of filtered results from the "Find Events" search, you will see a map with a variety of pie charts on it. The following example is limited to Lake Michigan waters.
    2
The default plotting scheme is the "Reported Point" for each event which is the latitude/longitude of the event if provided or the centroid of the grid, but you can choose "Statistical District" or any other option in the Spatial Resolution section of the Map Settings tab to change how data is shown.
    3
Selecting "Jurisdiction" will show stocking by state or province, and note that an explanation of each Spatial option appears when you hover over the option.
    4
This shows the Jurisdiction view, where you see pie charts of species for each state around Lake Michigan.
    5
In the Category heading, you will see many different options for what is characterized in each of the pie charts shown on the map.
    6
By clicking on the "Statistics" tab, you will see summary statistics based on your selections, both in total and by Agency, Species, Etc
    7
You will also notice that when the Statistics tab is selected, you will see the color legend for the map that is displayed, and more in-depth information can be found by hovering over specific pie charts in the map.
    8
By default, the figures are shown in terms of Yearling Equivalents, but if you would like to see Actual numbers stocked or numbers of events, you can choose this in the Response Variable heading. The conversion rates for Yearling Equivalents can be found here under the lookup tables on the Utilities Tab of the main page. <http://fsis.glfc.org/shared/lookup_tables/#yreq>
    9
For instance if you wanted to look up the numbers of various life stages that have been stocked, you would click on the buttons for "Number Stocked" and "Life Stage".
    10
To see numerical value summaries, click on the "Statistics" tab.
