How to Merge Booker Profiles

**Merging bookers will also merge all of the following data from the discarded booker profile:** - Invoices - Reservation data (reservation origins) - Revenue data
Click "Bookers and Guests"
Click the booker profile from the list that you want to merge with another contact.
In the ‘Merge Profiles’ search field, type the first two letters of the company, the booker's first name or last name, or the email of the booker profile you wish to merge with the current open booker profile.
Select the booker profile you want to merge from the list.
Click "MERGE BOOKER"
You will now see two columns. On the lefthand side there will be the data of the booker profile of the original booker. On the right-hand side, there will be the data from the booker that you selected through the search.
Click the **‘Switch details’** button in each profile card section to switch the cards across from the left to the right and visa versa.
The booker profile outlined in green will be the primary booker profile that you will keep. There is also a box at the top of the cards with an option to tick the card you wish to keep in the booker merge.
Alternatively, you can manually edit each field in the booker profile.
Click the text field to edit the content.
Click "Save changes" to save your edits in the booker profile card.
Sections in the Booker Profile card and fields you can edit include: 1. **Personal** - Title - Name - Birthdate 1. **Communication** - Email address - Phone number - Language 1. **Company** - Company Name - VAT number - Physical Address 1. **Identification** - ID Type - ID Number - Expiry Date 1. **Additional Booker Information** - Any additional notes about the booker.
Click "Merge"
Please take note: The Booker profile card outlined in green will be kept in the merge, and the other one will be removed from visibility. This action is irreversible and permanent. This information is only archived/hidden and not deleted in order to preserve the integrity of old, existing, and future bookings. Therefore, you will not be able to create a new booker with the same **email address** as this still exists in the system.
A confirmation pop up will appear to confirm the merge. Click "Merge Profiles" to complete the merge.
Click "Back to booker" to return to the booker profile screen.
Merging bookers will not merge negotiated rates from the discarded booker or confidential payment details.
