The first thing you need to do is to navigate to Google Sheets.

Once you are in the document you need to work on, you should click and drag the mouse over the cells you need to merge.

Once you do that, it should look something like in the picture below. Now, you should go to "format".

Then, click on "merge cells".

In this case, you can either use "merge all" or "merge horizontally".
