    How to Modify Page Setup in Excel

    Click "Page Layout"

    Change the Margins

    Click "Margins"

    Either select a pre-made set of margins or choose "custom margins"

    Selecting "custom margins" will open a window with multiple editing options including margin sizes on each side of the paper, whether the sheet should be centered horizontally or vertically on the page, and print preview using the custom margins changes.

    Click "print preview" to see how the changes made will impact the print view.

    This page will pop up when you select "print preview". To return to the previous page to make changes, click the arrow in the upper left hand corner.

    Page Orientation

    In the "Page Layout" tab, click "Orientation"

    You can now select either portrait or landscape.

    Change Sheet Size

    In the "Page Layout" tab, click "Size"

    This will open a drop down menu where you can select the size of the paper you will be printing on to adjust the sheet size. Standard is letter size 8.5" x 11".

    Print Tiles

    Under the "Page Layout" tab, click "Print Titles" to select which rows and columns will repeat on each printed page of the sheet.

    Click the arrow next to "Rows to repeat at top:" to return to the sheet to select which rows you would like to repeat each time the sheet prints a new page.

    For this example, we select row 1 which holds the table headers.

    Click the arrow next to "Rows to repeat at top:" to return to the editing window.

    Click "OK" to finish selecting the rows you would like to print at the top of each sheet.
