    How to Purchase and Activate an eBook from the CSU Bookstore Website

      To begin, navigate to [https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/home](https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/home) , navigate to the "Textbooks" menu, and click on "Shop for Textbooks."
      Begin by entering the term, department, course, and section number from the "Search by Course" menu at [https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/SelectTermDept](https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/SelectTermDept). When you are done entering your courses, click on "View Your Materials."
      You will see a series of options for your books on the page, including print, rental, and digital options. To purchase the eBook, select the option under the "Digital" heading and click "Add to Cart." Click "Add to Cart"
      When you are done adding all contents to your shopping cart, click "Continue Checkout" to start paying for your order.
      Verify the items in your shopping cart and click "Continue Checkout".
      The first box notifies you that we will substitute books to the least expensive available version if the requested condition (Used/New) is no longer available. This does not apply to eBooks, but our system requires a response. Click "Continue" to proceed.
      If your instructor changes course materials requirements, the CSU Bookstore can update your order. When purchasing eBooks, the CSU Bookstore recommends selecting "Do Not Add to Order" and clicking "Continue."
      If you answered "Add Only Required" or "Add All Materials" in the previous question, the next question asks what condition you would prefer on any materials we add. If you selected "Do Not Add to Order," answer either used or new; this will not affect your order.
      After verifying your substitution preferences, click on "Payment Options" to begin paying for your order.
      If you are a CSU student, you need to read the statement that pops up and click on "I Understand" to continue to the next step.
      Click "eID or NetID Login"
      Sign in using your eID/NetID credentials. These are the same credentials you use to access Ram Web and Canvas.
      After signing in, you will either be redirected to a page to finish setting up your profile on our website or you will begin the checkout process. Since this order only has eBooks, you see the option "Continue to Checkout." If you are purchasing physical merchandise in addition to your eBooks, you will see options for shipping or in-store pick-up.
      Verify your billing address. If you need to make any changes, click on "Change" to make any updates. Click on "Continue" to proceed to the next step.
      If you are purchasing any other items, you can select your shipping method or pick-up date. If you are only purchasing an eBook, you will see an option named "Digital Content Only" as the fulfillment/pickup method. Click on "Continue."
      After selecting your fulfillment method, you will select your payment method. In this example, we are charging the course materials to a student account. Select "Student Account" as the payment option, and enter your students account number in the "Account Number" field. Click the checkbox next to the student account acknowledgment.
      Review your cart one more time for errors. Click on "Submit Payment" to complete your purchase.
      After purchasing your eBooks, you can click on "Return to Home" to go back to the website's front page.
      After purchasing your eBooks, go to [https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/home](https://www.bookstore.colostate.edu/home) and click on the menu option marked "My Account."
      Even though you are not purchasing any course materials, click on "I UNDERSTAND" to dismiss the notification.
