From the "Reconcile" page, select the bank account you wish to reconcile from the drop-down menu.
Enter the **Ending Balance** based on your bank statement.
    Select the statement date.
    Click "Start reconciling"
QuickBooks Online will display a list of transactions based on the statement date and ending balance you provided.
Go through each transaction on your bank statement and check if it matches the transactions displayed in QuickBooks. Mark each transaction as "cleared" in QuickBooks if it matches the bank statement.
Once you have reviewed and addressed all discrepancies, you can complete the reconciliation process. Ensure that the difference between the statement balance and the ending balance in QuickBooks is zero.
Click on the "Finish now" button to complete the reconciliation.
QuickBooks Online will then display a reconciliation summary, which you can print or save for your records.
If you encounter any discrepancies between the transactions in QuickBooks and your bank statement, follow these steps to address them: 1. Verify that the transaction amounts and dates are correct in QuickBooks. 2. Double-check the transactions on your bank statement to ensure they match the ones in QuickBooks. 3. If you find any errors, make the necessary corrections in QuickBooks by editing the transaction details.
Reconciling your bank accounts regularly in QuickBooks Online is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records. It helps to identify any errors or discrepancies, allowing you to take appropriate action and ensure the integrity of your financial reports. By following the steps outlined above, you can easily reconcile your bank accounts in QuickBooks Online and keep your financial records in order.
