Click "New to You" Online Trailer Registration. This is for trailers that have never been registered in Maine and cannot be trailers that need to be titled. Those registrations need to be sent in the mail with the original title. Have questions? Give our team a call at 8002445718 option 3.

If this is your first time registering with us, click "Download POA Form". This must be filled out and notarized, and then attached with your registration for us to act as your trailer agent.

Once you are sure that step is done, click "Continue to Online Registration".

If your trailer has living quarters or a bathroom in it, we cannot register it. If it doesn't, select "No" and move on.

If your trailer weighs over 3,000lbs and is 25 years old or newer, we will NEED to title it if it is not already titled in your name. The system will prompt you to stop here if you answer these questions and you need a title. Please do not complete the online form as we will need the original title in order to proceed, and you will just create more work for you and our staff.

Once you are ready to move on, it will allow you to hit next if you can move on.

Select if you are registering as a company or as an individual. If registering as a company, you will need an EIN number. If registering as an individual, we will need your date of birth.

Fill in the information about the name and address we will be registering the trailer to.

Fill in the EIN number when registering as a company. If registering as an individual, this page will look a little different, but it will ask for your DOB instead of an EIN.

Input the contact information incase we need to contact you about your registration.

Select whether you want items shipped to the same address as the registration, or a different address.

When you are ready to move on, hit next.

Fill in the purchase date, purchase price, trailer make, and VIN number here. (If you do not have 17 digits with your VIN, click on the VIN inspection form and fill that out to attach with your registration. This will need to be signed off by a badged officer. Input the trailer year and trailer type. If the type is not listed, select other and describe what kind of trailer it is.

Fill in the color, how many axles, and how many tires your trailer has. If you want a unit number on your trailer, put it in the selected field.

Select how long you want to register your trailer for. (If your trailer is a "little" trailer or a special equipment trailer, your price may different from these rates.)

Select if you are interstate commerce or not. Not sure? If you participate in interstate commerce, you will have a Motor Carrier # and a DOT #, and you will partake in business in multiple states.

If you are not interstate commerce, and you have not paid sales tax, you will owe 5.5% in sales tax. If you have paid sales tax already, you will need to attach proof later on.

Now it is time to input the seller's information and if there is a lienholder with your trailer.

Next, you need to upload the necessary files for your trailer to be registered. We need proof of ownership (a bill of sale, invoice, signed certificate of origin, or a title in your name), the Power of attorney form you needed to get done in step one, and proof of sales tax paid if you have already paid. If not, the bill of sale that shows how much you paid for the trailer so we charge you the correct amount).

Once your items have been uploaded, you need to click that you provided the correct information. Failure to provide the correct information will delay your registration being processed as we will have to reach out to you.

You also need to check that you have attached a signed and notarized POA. If you already have one on file, click this button as well.

Now select how you want your plate back.

You can select USPS Priority mail, or a FedEx option.

Write in any other comments you may have, and put your phone number down so we can reach you if we have questions about your application.

Now hit next to go to the final page of the form.

If you want to rush your order, you can give us a call to find out what the current rate is. Normal processing time is 3-5 business days, but sometimes can go quicker or may take more time, it depends on how many registrations are ahead of yours.

Next, you will select that you want to pay online using our online secure link. If you do not submit this step after you submit your registration, it will take more time as we will need to contact you to get proper payment.

Once you are done, hit submit to send your registration. If you feel like you forgot something, hit back to go to a previous page.

After you submit, there will be a link to submit your card with a secure payment link. If this step is skipped, your registration will be delayed as we have to contact you to get proper payment, and if you do not answer, we will wait for a phone call back.

When you click on the link to submit your payment online, it will bring you to our credit card authorization site.

Fill in the information and the name on the registration so we can match the payment to the proper registration. Then select which services we provided.

Input the amount you expect to be charged based on the registration form you just completed.

Enter in the remaining information needed to charge your card when it is time for us to process.

Then enter in your card information.

Select the captcha info and hit submit.

We will then receive an email notification of both your trailer registration and that you submitted payment information.
