How to Submit an Underwriting Request in Ascend

Navigate to [https://dashboard.useascend.com/programs](https://dashboard.useascend.com/programs)

Select the program you to submit a request for

Click "Request loan terms"

Click the "Downpayment" or "Interest Rate" field.

Type your requested downpayment/interest rate

If you want to change the number of payments on a PFA, click the "Payment terms" dropdown
7
Select the number of payments you'd like to offer
If the policy is <$10,000 this is the last step! If greater than $10K, see below

If it's a renewal, select Renewal, otherwise skip to the next step.

Indicate whether there has been a recent lapse in coverage or not

Click "Update"
Ascend will review the request in 2-3 business hours and let you know if the request has been approved or if we need additional information. For a faster turnaround please reach out to [support@useascend.com](mailto:support@useascend.com) .

Once approved, you can log into Ascend to send the payment link!
