How to Request Grant Funds

Navigate to [https://sbac.my.site.com/communitygrants/](https://sbac.my.site.com/communitygrants/Grant__PtlFundingApps)

Click on the application number for the grant application you are requesting a payment. In this example it is "APP-003254"

Click on the Funding Summary Name. In this example it is "TEST"

Click "Create/Edit Transaction"

Click "Add a new transaction"

Click on this text field and delete the words "Payment Description" and then enter a description of the items for which you’re requesting reimbursement. Ensure these items match those approved in your grant application/revised budget. For multiple items, list each item’s amount and description on a new line.
Example:\
"$2000 for Artist Salaries"\
"$2500 for Program Supplies"
*You do not need to create a separate transaction for each item if you are submitting them at the same time.*
**OPTIONAL:** To upload supporting documentation (such as receipts or canceled checks) for payments made, click "Choose File," then locate the document on your computer. Double-click the document to select it, and then click the blue "Upload" button.

Click this text field and enter the total amount you are requesting for reimbursement.
Note: If your project and final report are not yet complete, you may only request up to 90% of your total grant award. For example, if your full grant award is $5,000, you may request up to $4,500.

If everything is correct, click the green "Submit Transactions" button to send your reimbursement request for processing.
Note: Clicking "Save Changes" will save your request as a DRAFT, and your payment will NOT be processed.

Once your payment has been processed, you will receive an email notification. Most payments are processed within 5 business days, and you should receive the funds within 5-10 business days after processing. However, please allow up to 30 days for payment to arrive.
