    Navigate to [https://nccumc-hl.mimas.opalsinfo.net/bin/home?logout=1](https://nccumc-hl.mimas.opalsinfo.net/bin/home?logout=1)
    Click "Login"
Enter your username and password. If you forgot, email [email protected].
    Click Login.
When viewing your search results, click "Request." If you do not see the Request button, there are no copies of that item currently available. Fast forward to Step 13 to see how to get on the waiting list.
If we have multiple copies of an item, and you would like to request multiple copies, enter the number of copies into # copy. The (max: #) will show the number of copies in our collection, although some of them may be checked out.
    Enter your email address.
    Click Submit Request.
You will then see a confirmation screen. Read it and click Close.
You can also click on the Request button when looking at the full item record.
To see the status of your request, click "My Request"
You will see your request listed under Active/Current and the Status will say waiting. The #Request will show the number of copies requested. When your request is approved by the librarian, the number of copies will show under #Reserve if there is a waiting list or under # on hold if the item is currently available. When your request has been mailed to you, you will receive an automated email from OPALS showing your items on loan.
If all copies of a resource are currently checked out, click "Reserve" under Circulation to get added to the waiting list. The Circulation tab may only appear when viewing search results or item records.
You can enter the barcode for the resource if you know it, but it may be easier just to search for the title.
Enter keywords from the title and click Search.
Click "Reserve" next to the title you would like to reserve.
    Click this Reserve button next.
To see the status of your request, click "My Request"
You will see your request listed under Active/Current and the Status will be listed as reserve. When the item has been returned and it has been mailed to you, you will receive an automated email from OPALS showing your items on loan.
