How to Sell a House on Craigslist

Go to your local Craigslist.

Click the "housing offered" field.

Click the "real estate - by owner" field.

Write your listing - see below for a tips on how to write a great one!

When it looks good, click "continue."

If you don't put in a specific address, your home's location will show up as a general zip code zone on the map. If it looks good, click "continue."

Click "Add Images"

Locate the photos on your computer and upload them to Craigslist.

The first image will be the featured image. You can drag them to re-order. When you're done, click "done with images."

Review your listing. You can go back and edit any fields by clicking the "edit" buttons or by using the back button on your browser. When you're happy with it, click "publish."

Almost done! Check your email and click the confirmation link. If you don't do this, your listing won't post.
