How to Set Out of Office Status in Slack

Activating your Out of Office Status in Slack

Click your profile status field.

Click on "Update your status."

Click "Out of Office" You may also edit the status wording if you wish to add further details.

Use the "Remove status after" drop down to choose when your out of office status will end.

Choose when your out of office time will end. Select one of the drop down options or choose a custom date and time.

To avoid being disturbed click the "Pause notifications" checkbox.

Click on "Save" and your status will change.

If you didn't set up an end time for your out of office or you wish to deactivate it, click your profile status field.

And then, click "Clear status"
