    How to Set Up Email Forwarding in Gmail

    Navigate to [https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/#inbox](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/2/#inbox) - ie. to the inbox you wish to set up the forwarding from.
    Click here.
    Click "See all settings"
    Click "Forwarding and POP/IMAP"
    Click on the 'Add a forwarding address' button.
    Type "[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected])" (in this example); for you, type in the details of Account02 - ie. the account you wish to forward your email to.
    Click "Next"
    Click this button.
    Click "OK"
    At this stage, it is important to press 'arrow back' (once) from the settings screen, that you are on, so that once you have verified the email forward from the recipient address, you are in the right place in this account to continue.
    Switch to tab "Inbox (1) - [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) - Newham Community Learning Mail" - ie. switch to window where you have Account02 open (the account you wish to be the recipient of the forwarded emails).
    Click "[[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) has requested to automatically forward mail to your email address [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]). Confirmatio..." - ie. in your Account02 (email recipient), look for this verification email that will have been delivered following your confirmation of the forward from your Account01 ([email protected] in this example).

    Click this button - ie. once you have clicked the link in the email, this screen will open; click 'confirm' (you are confirming that your recipient account - Account02 - wishes to receive the emails from Account01).
    Click "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" - ie. now you need to navigate BACK to your Account01 (in this example, [email protected]) which is the account that will be forwarding the emails to Account02 ([email protected] in this example).
    Once you are back in Account01 , again in your email settings window, click the 'verify' button.
    Once you have clicked 'Verify', click this dropdown to decide what suits you best in terms of what happens to the email that you will be forwarding in its ORIGINAL inbox (totally up to you and you can alter this at any time).
    Click the 'Forward a copy of incoming mail to' radio button - you MUST remember to do this to activate the forwarding that you have set up!
    This is what your screen should look like after you have clicked the radio button to activate the forward.
    Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click "Save Changes" - you MUST do this to save the changes you have made on this screen (ie. setting up the forward).
