How to Set a Milestone in Asana

Click the details arrow for the task you would like to convert to a Milestone.

Select the 3 ellipses in the upper right hand corner of the details bar.

Click "Mark as milestone"

There are two places you can see when a task has been converted to a Milestone. First is above the task name in the details bar. The second is using the green diamond symbol next to the task name in list view.

Once in the project you want to create milestones for, click "Overview"

Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see Milestones. You can already see the milestone we made in option 1.

To add another milestone, click the plus sign next to Milestones.

This will now add a blank milestone for you to add details to.
