Click"Search"

Type "Display settings"

Connected displays will show up. If you do not see ALL of your displays go to Step 4.

If you have a display that is connected, but is not showing up, click "Extend desktop on 1 and 2" and all the displays will appear.

Click "Keep changes"

All of your displays should now show. Click "Identify". Each monitor or display will show a number on the screen identifying each. In my example the following are: Laptop: 1 TV: 2 External Monitor: 3

Click display 1 (laptop) and decide which monitor you would like to mirror/duplicate to.

If "Duplicate desktop on 1 and 2" are selected, the laptop(1) and the TV(2) will be duplicated or mirrored. What is showing on the laptop will also show on the TV.

Click "Keep changes"

Click "Display 3"

Click "Extend desktop to this display". You will be able to drag windows to display 3, the external monitor.

If you've chosen to extend your displays, you can arrange them by dragging and dropping the display icons in the "Arrange your displays" section. This helps set the physical layout of your screens.
Do you see a black border around your mirrored image of your laptop on the tv screen? Change the resolution of the display.

Choose the TV display

Click "Display resolution"

Change to recommended resolution of 3840 X 2160
