    Change Owners in Google Drive

    Important! You can transfer ownership of a file to someone you previously shared the file with.

    On your computer, open [Google Drive](https://drive.google.com/)

    Find the file you want to transfer and right-click on it

    Click "Share"

    Click "Share"

    Next to the recipients name, click the Down arrow.

    Click "Transfer ownership"

    At the upper right corner, click “Share”

    Cancel a Transfer
