How to Upload Student Data with Zero Enrollment

All schools must use the portal to report their student data, so we have a central repository of data. But if you don't have any students to report during the reporting period, we have a quick and easy way for you to do that in the portal!

Navigate to [https://ec.apps.laregents.edu/](https://ec.apps.laregents.edu/)

Fill out your log-in information. See the [Portal Guide Tutorial](https://scribehow.com/viewer/LWVSL_Data_Portal_Guide__NPEG5fQBT0uSB4mDB40o_Q) for directions if you need help to register or forgot your Password.

Click "Log In"

If not taken to your institution list, click "Select Institution". Remember you might only have one institution to submit data for! This varies by school.

Select the institution for which you want to upload data.

You will then select the correct system. There should only be one system per institution. We are using the "Proprietary Institution Data Collection" for this example. There are slight differences in the data fields between systems, but the upload process is the same.

Select the checkbox next to No student records for this submission period.

Please keep in mind that schools that report Zero students, will have their past and upcoming renewal information reviewed for consistency. Under no circumstances should this be used as a data reporting shortcut.

Click "Upload"

You'll get a notification message and be sent a confirmation email.

You should see "0" as the last or only number of records for your Number of Records for THIS YEAR SUBMISSIONS.

Alert! If you have uploaded or added multiple files it is important to remember that the list of records is ***not*** cumulative. The last number is the number of records that you uploaded.

Once you are done, you can Logout. Until next year!
