Navigate to the Confluence homepage.

Click "Create a space" to get started making content.

Select the type of space you'd like to create and click "Next."

Click the "Name your space" field.

Type the name of your new space.

Click "Create space."

Next, create a page within your space to start publishing content. Click on the plus sign next to "Content" on the left.

Type a backslash in order to see a list of types of content you can insert.

Click on the type of content you'd like to insert.

Click "Publish."
