1
Search for your desired location in the "Enter Address, Zip Code, or City" field and press **Enter.**
2
In **Step 1** of the sidebar that appears, select **Property Lists.**
3
In **Step 2** of the sidebar, click **Upload CSV** to import your own property lead list.
4
Find your file and **double-click** on it to upload.
5
On the right-hand side, **select the stars** for the types of data you want to see on a **pin**. For this tutorial, **star** the *Address*, *Beds*, and *Price*.
Tip! Your document is safe! Nothing you select, delete, or hide on BrightInvestor will affect your original CSV file.
6
Now that we've chosen our filters, **select Import**.
7
All the properties from your CSV Property Lead List are then uploaded onto BrightInvestor for you to view and filter.
8
Let's start filtering. In **Step 2** of the sidebar, click on the first *Focus Column* and **Select Beds.**
9
In the next column, labeled *Focus Style,* **select Scale.**
10
The pins on the map now differ in size by the amount of beds they have. The more beds, the bigger the pin.
11
Let's narrow it down a little more. In the sidebar under *Quick Focus,* click **\+ Add Quick Focus.**
12
In the first column of the second row, select **Price.**
13
In the second column of the second row, select **Red to Green.**
14
The pins on the map now differ in both color and size. The **red pins mean lower** prices, and the **green pins mean higher** prices.
15
For this tutorial, let's say we want to find properties with the **most bedrooms** at the **lowest prices.** These will be big, red pins.
16
Click the **big, red pins** and press **Select** to highlight them in blue.
17
Once all the pins have been selected that fit your criteria, click **Export Selected** in the sidebar.
18
This new, revised CSV file will be downloaded to your computer. **Click** on the download to open it.
19
In this new version of the property lead list, it has now been narrowed down to the best properties that fit this tutorial's criteria. **Delete** any rows that misalign with the criteria.
