How to Use the Calendar Tool on TTBizLink

This section describes how to use the calendar tool to select nearby and far away dates for form fields in TTBizLink applications.

Option 1: Select a Nearby Date

In this example we are going to enter the 31 August 1962 in the Date of Birth field. Please select the date field. This will bring up the Calendar Tool.

The Calendar Tool is displayed. Use the backward and forward arrows to view nearby months.

To view nearby years, select the Month/Year label first. In the example below, select "March 2005".

Next use the backward and forward arrows to select the desired year. In our example we want to select 2003. Select the backward arrow twice.

Select 2003. The months in 2003 are then displayed as shown below. Next select "Aug".

All the dates in August 2003 are displayed. Select "31".

The field is now populated with the required date.

Option 2: Select a Far Away Date

In this example we are going to choose a date of 31 August 1962 in the Date of Birth field. Click on the Date of Birth field. This will bring up the calendar tool.

Next click on the Month and Year label to display all the months in the given year. In the example below click "March 2005". This will display the 12 months in 2005.

The 12 month range in 2005 is given below. Next click on the Year label to access a 12-year range for the given year. In this case click "2005".

In the example, 2005 is within the the 12 year range of 2000 and 2011. Click on the year range label (i.e. 2000-2011) to access previous 12-year ranges before 2000 and after 2011.

Other 12-year ranges are now displayed. Use the forward and backward buttons to view various 12-year ranges. In the example below click the back button to get to a year range with 1962.

Click on the range "1960 - 1971" as the year 1962 is within this range.

All the years between 1960 and 1971 are displayed. Click "1962". This will display all the months in 1962.

All the months in 1962 are now displayed. Click "Aug". This will display all the dates in August 1962.

All the dates in August 1962 are now displayed. Click "31".

The field is now populated with the required date of 31 August 1962.
