The Staff Alerts section of the student's profile displays any Alerts, Cases, or At-Risk statuses the student has received from Mid-Semester Feedback 'Progress Reports' or Ad Hoc Alerts.

The Alerts page shows all alerts raised for a student. Mid-Semester Feedback Alerts include:

- Kudos/Student is doing well
- Not attending class meetings/late for class
- Not completing/submitting assignments
- Not engaged with in-class activities/other assignments
- Not passing exams or quizzes
- Poor work quality (written assignments or homework)
- Other non-academic concerns

For Mid-Semester Feedback, only ONE case is opened per student regardless of how many alerts were raised. This centralizes all communication with the student's success team in a single location.

Click the 'Open Cases' link in the Staff Alerts menu.

Click 'Manage Case' for the Mid-Semester Feedback Case.

Click 'Add Comment' to document your conversation with the student regarding their Mid-Semester Feedback.

After typing your comments, click 'Add Comment' to save and post them. Then:

- Click 'Close Case' if you believe the student has received the necessary support
- Or simply exit the screen to leave the case open
