How to View & Assign Group Tasks (Playbook)

      How to View Group Tasks

Open SBC Playbook and navigate to **Groups** in the lower right-hand corner.
Select the Bible Study Group that you want to view the tasks of.
From here, you can view the tasks that are assigned to your Bible Study Group currently.
Under Group Tasks, there are two tabs: This Week & Previous Weeks\ \ **This Week:** This tab will show all tasks that have been assigned for the current week.\ **Previous Weeks:** This tab will show all previous weeks tasks. You can go through and see what tasks have been completed and what tasks are remaining to be completed.

      How to Assign Group Tasks

Open SBC Playbook and select **Groups** in the lower right-hand corner and select your desired Bible Study Group.
Locate the task that you are wanting to assign to yourself or another leader/class member.
This will open up the task and you'll notice that the connector is showing "Unassigned". In the Playbook app, a connector is the person responsible for completing a group task. Their goal is to contact the person and 'connect' them to the life and ministry of your group and the life of our church. To assign someone, click on **Edit** in the lower left-hand corner.
The edit button pulls up a dialog box where you can edit the request. You can update the connector by clicking on the drop-down menu and selecting your desired **connector**.
Now that there is a connector assigned, it will show that the task has been assigned and will show who the connector is.
When you add or change to a new connector on a group task, Playbook will notify that person by email and add the group task to the person's personal task list in Playbook.
