Launch the QuickBooks software on your computer and sign in to your company file. Access the Check Register: Go to the "Banking" tab on the top menu and select "Use Register" from the drop-down menu.
Select the Account: Choose the bank account that the check is associated with from the list of accounts.
Locate the Check: Scroll through the list of transactions in the check register until you find the check that you want to void. Open the transaction.
Click on the small drop-down under the **Delete** button on top of the check screen, and then select **Void**.
When you click on "Void," you'll see the amount change to zero, which means the bill is now open again. You'll also notice "VOID" in the memo field. Just click "Save & Close" to void the check.
    Click yes on the pop-up
